Deadbeat-- 1)someone who doesn't pay his debts. 2) lazy When referring to a father, generally refers to child support. Has NOTHING to do with the amount of time it took him to get here. Sorry. ANd if that's the only "fact" you have to know this, well, maybe it's enough for you, but it won't be for most thinking people. Provide proof of his lack of financial support or his neglect of the family while in Cuba, please. Of course, he might be definition two: lazy.
