John Fowler. Re: "I know you are concerned about valuations." Yes, and higher inflation and interest rates could squeeze them some more. I think that's what is going on today. One could argue that even at the lower PE, the S&P is too high relative to the growth rate of earnings.

With Bryant's "new economy" thoughts and Greenspan's "old economy" concerns, it should be an interesting next few months, and then there's the election.:)
