Since it's a quiet day I'll post some probably meaningless gossip I saw on amdzone.com:

Van Smith of Tom's Hardware sent me the following very interesting e-mail about something strange at the GeForce 2 bash he attended:

I don't know if this means anything or not, but last week at NVIDIA's
GeForce2 GTS bash, I found a Dell system with a large Athlon sticker slapped
on its front. When I asked NVIDIA about this, the guy said something like
"Oh yeah, that's the new Dell Athlon system," and he walked away. A few
moments later he ran back out and removed the sticker explaining that he
made a mistake and that the system actually contained a PIII.

By the way, all of the systems demonstrating the new video cards based on
the GeForce2 were Athlon based.


Now that is quite interesting isn't it? Van wants me to stress that this may mean nothing at all.

yousef was bad enough.

Not that Yousef is any good but he is many times better than Stockman.
