Sarkie, I agree that yesterday's news, both the Lucent deal and the quarterly report, had positive influence on the price of HSAC shares. The Lucent news came out during the last hour of trading and the quarterly and some follow up ZD and The Street news and opinion releases were issued after the close. It seems significant that HSAC, which rarely trades after hours, had extended hours trading of about 430,000 shares selling between 11 1/4 and 11 7/16. Lately, there has been a good deal of negative posting concerning PA and Wired World companies. It is correct to say that several have not fared well during the recent round of sell offs, while others, like CHTR and HSAC, slid slowly down over a longer period of time. However, it is my sense that recent media factual and opinion articles are encouraging the view that PA's Wired World, particularly the broadband sector, is coming together more rapidly than generally anticipated. When the culminating event will occur is still very much speculative. But the signs of its approach are beginning to become more apparent. Market appreciation and concomitant share price appreciation are likely to follow in due course. Despite early enthusiasm for each of the Broadband Partners, putting together the Wired World should not be viewed as a rapid process to be completed overnight. The virtue of patience seems to have been overlooked by many of us. I must confess to have suffered doubt and frustration at times over the past several months, but it is Spring again and my confidence in the future is returning. It will still take time before fulfillment, but major progress is evident. Nevertheless, more time will elapse and patience still will be required before the reality of the Wired World is accepted by the Market. Of course, there is a contrary view, best expressed by the philosophical credo imprinted on my coffee mug, "LORD, grant me PATIENCE. But I want it RIGHT NOW!" Sy
