chris are you talking short term as in day trades, the channel on your chart is a bear flag.

many former tech leaders are making lower lows and lower highs some from as far back as december, amzn, aol, qcom, yhoo, msft are just a few of the bigs, the nobody's have been taken out big time.

also refer back to your hang seng chart, which made a bear flag that filled the gap in last session.

the bullish fundamentals of low rates and no inflation that has supported the market is now in question, don't fight the tape and try to take the last drop from the bull

Shifted back to qqq calls at 3:30.
From 12:30 until then was in OEX puts.
