i see what you mean...no, i was referring to the day as such. but rest assured, the buying was definitely concentrated in the index heavies. i know without looking, because the last 50 times i looked, it was like that every time.

According to briefing.com, the A/D went as follows:

3:25 - 802/2141 (NYSE), 1018/3002 (NAS)
4:00 - 823/2139 (NYSE), 1288/2753 (NAS)

So, breadth definitely improved somewhat in the Nas, but as others have said, the buying was probably concentrated in "the generals".
