Captain: Surprised? No. I think you and I were the only posters on this thread drawing attention to the fact throughout the 4Q and 1Q that not only was the head count reduction that had been promised by MC going slowly but that COMPAQ was taking on extra staff through the first Ericsson deal and the Inacom deal. I don't have the figures to hand but I believe the earnings announcement commented on the fact that although there was a reduction of about 7% costs the net head count had risen, not fallen.
