Maybe I was just born to argue with you, Koan, because I'm not sure the market said that much about PFN today. Perhaps it was more a psychological reaction to previous statements and current overall market conditions than anything else.

For example, I've noticed twice now that a spec. oil stock I'm in has reacted severely to market action on the big boards. Don't know why it reacted with them - they have nothing in common - yet it dropped dramatically in sympathy with Nasdaq techies. To me it was a buying opportunity and worked out that way within just one day. This time it hasn't sagged yet but I'm watching...<ggg>.

Today we may have had high expectations coupled with a very bad day on the big boards such that when the NR came and it wasn't solid platinum, area stocks sagged. If big boards continue weak for the next couple days, perhaps we won't have a dramatic rally immediately but I think it will come.

Regarding coke, well they now have an internet strategy. Beats me...<ggg>

PS - I am holding pat on this entire area play. PGM's were way down today on the Russian exports, but I think it is clear that Russia can't supply the world's shortfall. The traders are really knocking the PGM's around, Just a bad today today all around.

The results seem fine, so I am just going to play this longer term. The mkt really doesn't like any mining plays <g>. In the PFN NR they talk about PDL being able to produce their deposit at $131 not including NSR's. If PFN can produce their deposit at similiar costs, then I really don't understasnd todays action.

I also find it amusing and encouraging that Claude and Brumell were expressing caution before, and were correct, and now you both seem a little more encouraged. I think both of you have done a better job than some of us at anticipating this play, so that gives me some heart, plus G Highgrade and others seem satisfied, so I am guessing this is just a nervouse and fickle mkt right now.

I meant to say Friday in my previous post not Thursday. Let's see how the week ends up. That will give the mkt the time to digest the drill results, the PGM volitility and the general mkt volitility. Heck everything was down. We didn't even get a flight to quality in the bond mkt - the dollar was stronger - that doesn't help me or anyone I know at all. In fact now that I think about it a stronger dollar is like the proverbial ill wind - lol.

The only guy smiling that I know of is Greenspan - we will soon see how happy he is - lol.
