"No joy in Mudville"?? Yesterday offered a terrific buying opportunity for those who know how the VLNC game is played. However, I do have some sympathy for latecomers to VLNC who thought that somehow they had bought a stock on the cutting edge of technology. Let us hope they are right, but they probably didn't understand that they were dealing with a company whose officers feel they owe everything to themselves and give absolutely no comfort to stockholders. I have stated in the past, and I will repeat, if I were the dean of Stanford, Harvard, Indiana or other business school I would use VLNC as a textbook example of how not to run a company.
