The child was removed from Miami simply because Reno did not want that kind of peer pressure prior to court. They wanted another kind of peer pressure that they could control.

No finger waving episodes, just a mild mannered boy that has been plied with toys and candy.

I can see that you need some more time to internalize the facts of life and to grieve over the fate of Elian. In the meantime, if it comforts you to keep chanting that same old mantra, I'll leave you to it.
