paradiso,

I believe we will get another sharp sell off sometime soon. The recently squashed rally was accompanied by anemic volume. Widespread fear associated with bottoms is not prevalent.

I am short qqq's, but will cover if the market proves me wrong.

Meanwhile, a question for anyone: do we receive interest on proceeds from short sales? The reason I'm asking is that the proceeds are showing as "margin balance" and are not being applied to moneyfunds. Of the total I collected selling short, only about 25% appears in moneyfunds. Over two weeks have elapsed since the short sales.
