MSFT--Cash Drain from Put Warrant Obligations

>>If you and I each own 10% of the water in a glass and you drink all the water, I really don't feel any better if you then give me your 10% of the water in the glass.<<

Think of it this way - that glass will be refilled with water every day, and now you get a bigger share to drink every day!

But if the liabilities are so great that the future cash flow has to be pledged to meet those liabilities, I am no better off because I have 20% (instead of 10%) of that fully encumbered cash flow. You sucked the juice out and are long gone. I am left high and dry.
