You don't have Home Barricade Suspects, Mr Scientist? We are always hearing on the news that "the police have surrounded a house in (fill in the blank) where a man is barricaded inside, blah blah blah." This always mystifies me. How would anyone know? Who announces that the guy is "barricaded in his house"? I mean, does the dude call the cops and say "I'm barricaded in my house, nyaah nyaah nyaah"? Why should anyone care? I Don't Get It. Of course, we also invented the Slow Speed Freeway Chase, so it's not surprising to find that we are again on the Cutting Edge of Crime here in Southern California.
