buying the 85p/2002 , being ditm, thus the least tv, and writing front months near puts. if stock tanks, my long moves dollar for dollar, whereas the short does not, and also has mostly tv. if equity goes up, slowly, i just write and write, if it goes up faster, i will sell long leap, buy higher, trying to keep the short @ lower price.i am always covered in case of disaster. the result is after 12 months a return of anywhere from 50% to 150%, really.this spread is strictly income oriented.
