Sudden change in stock valuation took people by surprise, Ames closed below teens.

This may create an average much lower than the past shorts. Eventually create a short squeeze among the market makers. Since, AMES normally falls short in the early part of the year and catches up at the end of the year, most investors will average down creating more shorts than ever.

Such is the way things are, May 5, 2000.
