I guess I'm not big enough of a client to receive interest on my short sale proceeds.

Even though I collected 70k, they are only putting 15k in mm funds, saying the negative ote offsets the cash balance. What they are saying, it seems, is that the cash in the account isnt really cash.

HB,

I get the feeling that I'm far from the only one NOT being paid interest on short sale proceeds. I had posited the same question on the askanthony thread and received a rather disillusioning answer.
