Virage Logic?s Custom-Touch Memory Compilers (CTMC) provide

Custom-Touch (HD), a high-density memory compiler family,
addresses the needs of many applications providing low area and
power with high speed. Custom-Touch (ULP) provides an ultra
low-power memory compiler family that addresses the needs of
power-sensitive portable systems. Custom-Touch (HS), a very
high-speed memory compiler family, addresses the needs of high-end
systems. Self-Testable Memory Cores? (STMC) integrate
comprehensive BIST and diagnostics with the memory compiler
families to deliver a complete, manufacturing-ready, embedded memory
core. Virage Logic also offers custom memory design services for
companies who require special configurations or functionality not
supported by CTMC.

Virage Logic?s ultra low power memories offer five to twenty times less
power consumption than competitive memory products, and the
company's memory cores work down to 1.0V. Virage Logic?s
high-speed memories operate at 400 MHz worst-case, 700 MHz
typical, while consuming less than one third the power of competitive
products for 0.25-micron processes.

Virage Logic?s also offers application-specific versions of its
Custom-Touch? embedded memory compiler families, suited for 0.18-
micron process-technologies. These application-specific memory
compilers allow systems-on-chip (SOC) integrators to select memories
optimized for the applications they are designing.

Virage Logic works closely with semiconductor companies to provide
silicon-proven embedded memory cores that can be rapidly integrated
into customer design flows. All products include complete, verified
EDA models for EDA vendors such as Avant!, Cadence, Mentor
Graphics, and Synopsys. Virage Logic is a Cadence Connections
Partner.

Virage Logic also offers Embed-It!?, an EDA tool-suite targeted
towards memory reuse. Embed-It! is a system that consists of two
products ? Architect and Integrator.

Architect is a software tool for memory developers to build embedded
memory compilers and generate memory instances for reuse in SOC
designs. Architect empowers the memory developer to efficiently build
and deploy many memory compilers and reduces the time to do this by
as much as 50-80%.

Integrator is a memory compiler that SOC integrators use to generate
instances for reuse in SOC designs. Integrator, which is the deployed
compiler from Architect, generates memory instances within minutes,
instead of weeks.
