Geeeeeeezus, Buckley...never spent much time on the basketball court have you?

Just so happens I have a son named Mike, and I happen to like that name, so as a favor to you...I'll start tagging you as MIKE now, in all caps so that I can keep the two of you separate in my quaint, midwestern mindset...deal?

Now, MIKE, will you please address the softy question I posed to you in the last reply, if it resonates that is?

This morning's papers (on topic and kind of OT)

1. The Seattle P-I reports Nathan Myhrvold's decision not to return to MSFT. He had been on leave since last July from his position as CTO, and this decision is not terribly surprising. Still, the brain drain from MSFT is severe. The Seattle P-I reports that Myhrvold said his departure "had nothing to do with the antitrust suit pending against Microsoft. . . ."

2. My edition of the New York Times--in referring to the death of Cardinal John O'Connor--describes him in big letters in a subheadline on the front page as a "Primate." (Presumably, unless he had BTE, discontinuous innovation, a value chain, hypergrowth, etc., what the NYT intended to say was "Prelate.")

More indirect evidence of a digital photography tornado...

SmartDisk revenues triple

Message 13571536

SanDisk has an equity interest in SmartDisk

Here is more substantial evidence...

Mike Buckley, If you don't respond to this I assume you have either buckled under the weight of supporting evidence for the digital photography tornado or that you don't give a hoot.
