I agree with you that uncertainty is the worse thing.

It's like those monkey experiments from the '60's or '70's.
They were testing for anxiety and had variable shocks administered to the monkeys in the cages. There was a button
the monkeys could press to administer the shocks to themselves. The shocks were then administered in ever increasing intervals. Finally, the monkeys would go and give themselves the shock after the anxiety of waiting for the next shock grew too great.

Sounds like you're ready to push the button!<g>

I think wage and price controls are in order. That'd really put the brakes on the economy. <ggg>
