I think they are ressurecting the ole irongate chipset in the mean time.

This whole chipset/mb fiasco may get worse before it gets better IMHO.

There lies the problem that has been discussed on this thread previously. The sad answer is NO. AMD probably has Durons and socket Thunderbirds being stockpiled each day with no place to go because Via's Socket A compatible chipset isn't out yet.

This sucks.

This does suck. Eventually all Athlons will be compatible only with Socket A? If so, what is AMD's current time line to make this happen?

I have to say I never fully understood the issue until this week....it truly does suck.
