William,
I borrowed my eBay short shares from Pierre. Any idea when I should return them?
>WASHINGTON, May 3 (Reuters) - Pierre Omidyar, founder and chairman of auction site eBay Inc. <EBAY.O>, plans to sell more than $63 million worth of the company's stock, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

A spokesman for the San Jose, Calif.-based company said on Wednesday that Omidyar was selling for estate planning and portfolio diversification purposes.

Omidyar, who is in his early 30s, is looking to sell 400,000 common shares he acquired from eBay in August 1996, according to the filing.

It showed that he has already sold about 300,000 shares for more than $46 million between Feb. 8-18.

He held more than 35 million shares of eBay as of April 1, according to the company's most recent proxy.

EBay shares were down 5-1/4 at 138-1/8 in afternoon trading on the Nasdaq.
