According to the Supreme Court, pornography is legal expression under the first amendment. Only when it slops over into "obscenity" can it be regulated or banned. Once a public library provides access to the internet it may not censor what the adult user can access without violating the First and 14th Amendments.
If women are offended by general access pornography they may, I suppose, demand that management protect them from exposure to a hostile work environment, but management will have to accommodate users legal access to their filthy legal printouts. IMO if some women can stand the heat of the library they ought to stay out of it.
