Can anyone give me an answer as to whether or not short sale proceeds collect interest? Say a client has $100,000 in his account. He sells short $50,0000 of a stock. Now his account balance is $150,000, but his total equity is still $100,000. Does he collect interest on $100,000 or $150,000??

Scam Alert!!! CORI...up 300 million dollars on licensing deal with NDB. Company valued at 840 million on 7 million in revenues....Up 100% on low volume. Baiting idiots it appears. I would guess that the licensing deal is not worth nearly 300 million dollars....of course, CORI isn't worth that anyway. Careful, it looks like it's just getting started. That's my opinion. the stock is trading like someone is trying to pull a scam here. Potential Long...STAA... biz.yahoo.com Would be interested in your opinion when you have a chance sir.
