I don't have a link for the info at the moment but a few weeks ago there were several warnings out about a virus or worm (don't remember which) that was executed when Outlook Express preview pane peeked inside to give you your preview. Be careful. Go to View/ Layout and remove checkmark in preview box to disable . I'll send the link if I find it.

Here's the info with a patch available at the bottom of the page. I do not know if other viruses have this capability.

...delete any message receive containing the words "I love You".....now as long as my girlfriend doesn't send me an email....

unfortunately, i don't have that problem right now. now if there were a "DIE YOU FILTHY SCUMBAG JERK!!" virus going around...
