Globalstar is the proverbial steamroller, slowly rolling across the world, slowly like steamrollers do, but always leaving its mark for all to see.

Received a letter from a friend in Darwin, Australia. He enclosed a couple of adds from the local rag. Vodafone, Globalstar. Really good adds, with a big picture of the phone with aerial extended. Wow, talk about a weapon, the Aussies will be shooting crocodiles in the outback and calling home at the same time. Nice little one liners like, " Call people from unheard of places" 100% coverage across Australia. They don,t mention the free leg of lamb though, actually they don,t have to because these phones will be so popular, the Aussies just love big phallic things.

Also received a clipping from the same newspaper all about the Iridium shutdown, showing a photograph of an irate Iridium subscriber holding a defunct phone that cost her $3000 aussie. I think Iridium will feel rather legally obligated to set these poor unfortunate people up with a Globalstar phone.

Anyway the news just keeps getting better for Globalstar and at $11 per share, May the 4th be with you.

John.
