WAMX please read today's news. Better read yesterday's news as well.

If this is not an impact date, that we should all be aware of, then I don't know what is.

"WAMEX has declared July 4, 2000 the official launch of its new electronic Alternative
Trading System and ``Independence Day for Investors'' because it enables
investors to trade directly, reducing Spread Exposure by eliminating the intervention of
brokers or traders. This revolutionary trading platform provides investors
round the clock access to trade all registered securities at low cost with anonymity across
all continents, in any major currency, in nine different languages, and with a
link to trade all major exchanges."

Than May 15, 2000

PLAINVIEW, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 4, 2000--Shopss.com Inc. (OTCBB:SHPSE - news) today announced that it expects to file its Form 10K for
the year ended Dec. 31, 1999, no later than May 15, 2000.

The delay in completing the Form 10K is the result of significant events associated with changes to the company's business plan and immediate implementation
thereof. A Form 8K will also be filed in connection with these events. It is anticipated that both these filings will lead to the removal of the ``E'' appended to the
SHPS symbol on April 25, 2000.

cautioned that such forward-looking statements involve risks and uncertainties, including, without limitation, continued acceptance of the company's products and
technological changes, the company's dependence upon third-party suppliers, intellectual-property rights and other risks detailed from time to time in the company's
periodic reports filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
