BWAC, I usually don't give much credence to 30 year charts, thought that JCP was particularly interesting though. I do think that some thing special is going on with this company. They have one of the strongest drug store businesses, having bought Eckerd, Thrifty, and Fay's over the past few years. They do know how to run retail. JC Penney stores are not particularly exciting, but are better than Sears, if not as good as WMT. The are talking about selling assets, spinning off drug stores, and today , the CEO resigns, which may or may not be significant. I would love for them to buy RAD. The 6-8% dividend is not secure, IMO, and should not be a reason for buying the stock. They should not be paying out so much. But I do find it an interesting situation right now, and the stock action is extremely positive. The stock is in a breakout mode. jmho. larry

Picked up some COVD for a position trade right before the close at 26 11/16. Near its 52 wk low and a nice report on DSL subscribership and demand out on one of the news services. According to YAHOO they have well over 900 million in the bank. Low debt.

Could see a nice move back to 30 or so soon.

Market prevailing, of course.
