I am essentially a long term Biotech investor and fortunately got out in March just about in time. The period since has been difficult as profits have been missed by those of us watching as the volatility increases. Today $BTK has really gone off on its own and although at lowish volume across the board not just the blue chips.

I know that $BTK peaked well before $NDX and there are some saying that it will (and is) leading the way out again. Others argue that the falls in Bio have been so precipitate that margin players etc have already gone and what we are seeing now is serious rebasing for a very promising long term with many well recapitalised by the mania.

I still think if the markets really unwind Bio will not be immune even at the initial crash prices. Do you agree or do you think that Bio can significantly go its own way as it appears to be for most of today.

I greatly enjoy this thread. Many thanks to you and others.
