two things about fleck:

a) he never quits

b) he has ties to the media

the media likes him because he can sound outlandish, childish, impish and brilliant at the same time - and usually not in that order

McNealy and MD both stated server business is booming. So on what evidence is more credence built - the Fleck or the CEO?

Darrell, RE: Corporate PC sales are still trending worldwide at between 15% to 18%

Could you give me a source that confirms this kind of trend?

Every source I have seen quotes your numbers as sales growth numbers for the overall PC industry, not corporate. The numbers for retail sales are higher, and the numbers for corporate sales are lower.

Hi!!

RE: Message 13570234

Great post!
And, let's not forget to dissect what is really important when he talks...He is vague.. And without an earthquake has been wrong for years..He doesn't seem to wish to admit that DELL's continued stealing of market share and increased efficiencies of their model will continue to roll in the corporate market which is increasingly looking for value...or wishing to follow the leader...His trash talk may apply to some...But, not to DELL..

Best, kemble
