Ever driven from Montego Bay to Savanna la Mar? Talk about nightmare. About 30 maybe 35 years ago used to make the trip couple times a week for a few months. Will never forget it. But, hey, when your young and foolish and all that ... God, can't believe it was that long ago. Rose (all of a sudden,feeling old)

So whats all this talk about Jamaica..... I havent been there in about 5 years, but prior to that we went 4 straight years for New Years. leave christmas day, come back the 3rd or 4th. Stayed at Sandals Ocho, Sandals Negril, Grand Lido, and Sandals Negril again. I agree 100% with the driving thing...absolutely unbelieveable. But what else is up that everybody wants to avoid going. We had awesome trips each and every time. Very laid back island, islanders were very nice. Occassionally met a questionable one out of the resorts, but for the most part, everything was great. Fell in love with scuba diving.....so whats the story there ? Back then, Kingston was really the only place to avoid. I assume it's getting rough outside of the resorts all over now ?? have a great day
