...cross check it against your current feed. It seems to happen very infrequently, so it would be difficult to test for. In the future I will check two different quotes services before I place a trade -- or at least check two sources at the start of the day to make sure there are no obvious problems. It seems that on 5/2 the SP broke out of a bear wedge that had formed from 4/17 to 5/1. The wedge retraced about 2/3 of the drop that began on 4/10. The SP looked sort of dead today.
