Gottfried, I agree. It was Tommy's comment about the Fed pumping the money supply and Kudlow's article that said the opposite that prompted me to ask Tommy about it. I'm just trying to make sense of what I read and hear, if that's possible! Diane p.s. I see you're a sailing enthusiast. Hubby and I have a small sailboat we enjoy immensely in the San Juan Islands, Puget Sound.

Evening Gottfried, 2 cent worth...It's an Election Year...and those in control do not want to be blamed for not keeping an even hand on the tiller... Problem is that this rate of increase in the money supply, is akin to throwing gasoline on to a fire...when one finally slows the rate of feeding the fire, IT DROPS VERY Suddenly... Have you ever though about where this new money is coming from? With no gold standard to back the green back, the printing presses are funning full tilt in order to keep enough on hand to feed the current fire... There is NO Basis to the value of the US Dollar!!!!and sooner or later, our world wide trading partners are going to catch on and quit wanting dollar based items...when that happens, the fire deminishes to but a glow... JMHO and a heck of a lot of research...Let's see if Tommy doesnt agree at least in part? Tommy, care to voice an opinion??? Later Preston
