If he really is lucky, yes. ;) I have no idea how often OEMs sell to the gray market. Since there is likely to be a strong demand for these slotted Thunderbirds, OEMs may make some good money selling them on the gray market, but they would only do that if they get more than enough slotted processors or they transition to sockets fast, right?
