When I was a kid, we arrived at our cottage one Friday night in late May and the mosquitoes were just wild... My dad stopped the car in the laneway and we just sat there looking out at the clouds of them that surrounded us. We worked out our little "strategy" in advance so that we wouldn't let too many of them into the cottage. Dad got out and ran to the cottage door and got it unlocked. Then he came back to the car and waved his coat in the air while we jumped out and ran like hell for the door with the dog right in the middle of us... Probably only let about 5 or 6 hundred of them in with us on our clothes... Yessir... nothing quite like being in Mosquito Country in May...(-:
