Thanks for your comments, Paul. Many of us are still reeling from huge tax bills. And that MSFT decision caught many of us on the wrong side.

I think we all do or say things at times that, in retrospect, were not very wise.

Not that they need any defense from me, but I believe the ladies were not so much upset at ed's exchange with me as they were about some other things that have been mentioned, regarding PMs and such, and which are none of my business.

One last thing, about thread morons, I have won that award myself at times, on threads other than this one, and have at times earned it and worn it proudly. <g>

As I posted previously the last time the Fed went thru this (94 I believe) multiple 25 basis point hikes were followed by 50, then 50 more, then 75 basis point increases..it could happen again. Barton Biggs actually used the bull word today on CNBC...I would expect a sideway moving market until another sustained push up...not clear this will run its course by end of this year. For next real leg up I still like GLW, JDSU, BRCM, QCOM, PMCS, NT and EMC. I wouldn't waste time with the 3rd and 4th line tech stocks for at least the next 3-6 months.
