Gerald--90% market share has always been a monopoly. 80% market share has been a monopoly almost every time. If that enough of a bright line for you. By 1990, at the latest, MSFT was a monopoly. Possibly, when the PC clones first appeared in the early '80's. Why do you think Intel settled? They had a monopoly (probably lost it recently) and they knew when to pack up and move on. Too bad our guys are guys are so pigheaded.
