well, like you say, it's all predicated on the bubble's demise. but the scenario you outline is definitely within the realm of the possible, and i agree it's a contrarian bet in a way. probably the opportunity to really profit from shorting the stock has never been better than it is now. it's as hard to do this as it was hard to bet against the one decision stocks in '73, which ultimately was an extremely profitable course of action. anyway, with this one you have to make sure that you're using a tight stop, just in case the bubble is more resilient than we currently expect.
