i am too chicken to short it. but i bet you a virtual bottle of wine that over the next 5-10 years the return on money invested in t-bills will be better than money invested into CSCO at its current valuation. we can check in 5 years and look at the cumulative returns.
btw (as an aside), the guy who is the author of the fifth grade math example (and you're quite right...it's simple and easy to grasp - that's what makes it so beautiful) is a highly respected fixed income investor who's basically seen it all...you see this isn't the first mania where stocks prices are reflecting totally unrealistic expectations. it has happened before, and the outcome has always been the same.
