I don't understand the mechanics of this, are you saying increased borrowing costs will cause companies to raise prices? - Usually it results in a drop in demand which puts pressure on price raises.

One real effect that rising interest rates are having is in the relative value between the Dollar, Euro, and Yen. The European economy is slowing much faster than the U.S. under competitive interest pressures. This could have the effect of delaying European infrastructure investment, such as changing their wireless networks. They may stick with what they have longer and this could hit Qcom in the pocketbook.
