Mag ; That's an OK url ..about the dollar and market..
the problem is recently IT ($) did did not drop with
the market..
so the short term chart would show you
no relationship

GO back in time to other market LOWS..like OCT 98..
AUG & OCT of 99..keep in mind that the more you go back
on a chart like that the less the percentage moves look
like as it's not a geometric type chart.

The move in the Dollar from the high in the market to
the S&P low in OCT of 99 was just about 10%..while the
market correctred about 20%..the Big boys got to buy it
with Dollars that were 10% cheaper..and all major corrections have been put in that way..

That it didn't happen in April is what is causing me to
think that was not a major correction..

And because the dollar is remaining strong is causing me
to think Distribution is going on big time..but in a
controled way..

The market is being flooded with more stock and more stock
from all the IPOs to the Tracking Stock of AT&T to all
the nut shares coming off restrition..
--------------

I don't consider the dollar a leading inicator however
it is a confirming one.. at least for major lows, and
it did not confirm the April low, and taht's the problem
and makes me think this rally is a joke.
