Sig, many good points. OTOH, a 1% real earnings increase is a big deal. Many times there is a big nominal increase in wages and a real loss. Looking at my lifetime it appears that almost all gains have been the result of increased productivity. Most productivity gains we are enjoying are not from labor productivity but from the computer / internet revolution.

Well, I finally have something to say.
I personally cannot wait until the current administration is out of office. Biggest bunch of trash that I can ever remember--incompetent, storm-trooping clowns. Doing everything wrong. What a disgrace the executive and judicial departments are. How dare Joel Klein say I have been harmed by Microsoft! Ha! But let me tell you how that clown has hurt my pocketbook-to the tune of thousands!!!!!!!!!!!1
