I split time with CNNfn
last night Willow Bay queried some economist

Willow Bay grilled him with repeated questions about what exactly the lagged effect was for the last few Fed rate hikes, acting upon the US economy

she wondered aloud if the Fed continues to raise rates until it sees evidence of economic slowdown, that the Fed would have failed its mission, since rate hikes in the last 2-4 months would therefore have been deemed EXCESSIVE

she made excellent points, raised excellent questions

WILLOW BAY IS THE SMARTEST SHARPEST ANCHOR ON BUSINESS NEWS
WATCH HER ON CNNfn IN THE EVENING

all other anchors I see possess no concept of lagged effects
they consistently react to the news of the day, latest economic report, with no appreciation for the gradual stepwise effect that monetary policy has on consumer and investment demand within our economy

CNBC SHOULD HIRE HER FOR DAYTIME ANCHOR, AND PAY UP !!!
now that would be a pretty face to watch
incredibly beautiful woman, excellent cheek bones
I am not biased by her beauty when assessing her anchor skills !!!

by the way, Karl Marx birthday is this May16th
same day as Federal Reserve FOMC Meeting

Candide, the only way to watch CNBC is w/ the volume on ZERO.

The only two useful parts of that channel is the three little "bugs" in the lower right hand corner of the screen
and the Nasdaq volume updates near the top of the hour. That's about it! Everything else is noise. Once in a while I turn up the Volume for Martha M. (I'm still trying to figure out what JW sees in her. Her body language is boring.)

In my shop I keep the radio tuned to 88.5 WXPN.org sitting on top of the silent TV.
