Julius, looks like we all survived 5/5/00 unscathed. I've been waiting for the bulls to kick back in, and you start to wonder - "maybe it won't happen this time". I see two scenarios playing out over the next 30 days:
1) The fed raises 50 basis points on 5/16 and the market rallies on the news (i.e. the rate is already in the market)
2) The fed raises 50 basis points on 5/16 and the market heads south into 1997 levels.
I've never been much to bet, but I lean toward scenario 2 right now.
This market has an extreme lack of confidence/momentum now.

I do like Natural Gas (I can't help this. Sorry> I have a bit of this naturally. There I go again.
Seriously, the last issue of Barron's certainly made the case for Gas in a major article.
