Rande Is:

"I'm letting the LPTHA shorts get me good entry points...as the stock powers ahead on slow accumulation."

Can you explain what you mean by this for those of us that read EVERY post here to try to learn this thing called investing. Thank you. DonnaS

Rande Is: Bought some CNXT with you. Also, picked up some CTXS yesterday. Both look oversold in here, without any fundamental reasons that I'm aware of.

Good morning Rande, I'm not a frequent poster here, but your post about "call me a stubborn bull" prompted this. I'm also sensing it's time to put some money to work (and, of course, I'll exit quickly if it doesn't play that way). I remember one of the regular posters here talking about LOR, which is one I've tracked for over a year as it's continued it's long descent. In doing some follow-up I found that the CEO recently purchased 100,000 shares at $10. biz.yahoo.com
As you well know, this kind of insider buying is as good as it gets for suggesting a bottom. Also read that Gabelli funds was picking it up here.

A couple of other plays that look good on a value basis are ETN, who just announced that they're spinning off their semi-conductor unit. ETN has a p/e of 9! ETN is also mentioned in the first "Powercosm" report (a Gilder off-shoot) which is available for free at www.powercosm.com.

Finally, there's VSH which manufactures and markets passive electronic components, and has held up incredibly well through the market downtown.

Disclaimer: I initiated positions in all 3 of these today.
