Kirk, To me the analysis provided at Dismal Scientist (Michael Bolden) did not suggest "mixed." Rather, after reviewing the indicaters, it concluded the inflationary trend continues apace: "Given evidence from the latest CPI report and other forward-looking data series that are used to construct these indexes, there is little chance that inflation will fall. The odds for a significant acceleration in inflation are increasing, with high levels of productivity growth providing the strongest counter to building wage pressures."
