Bux, I suspect, I don't know this for a fact, that they are bundling Royalties and Contract services to function as a point of integration of technology. Going back a few years, CHKPF, now CHKP, did engaged in a similiar practice to enable the integration of their "Stateful inspection," into other's security products. It is sort of archane stuff, but assuming that a schematic is developed, and needs to be integrated with the other underlying components of somebody else's product, the bundling of these two items makes sense.
