You need an attitude adjustment ed. Find a techhead to help you tweak the "options" button on your SI account. Sheesh.

This thread was started by Poet and Jill.

Many of us have reaped huge rewards by investing in Gorillas and Kings--see one of the
best threads on SI:

Subject 25851

We are equally interested in the powerful leveraging and hedging ability that can be obtained
by trading options on our favorite stocks in addition to holding our core long positions. This
thread is intended to be an open forum for those new to options as well as veterans. No
question is considered too elementary to ask, and we all hope to learn from each other. Jill
and Poet will do their best to facilitate and ask only that conversation remain respectful of the
many differing views and styles of options trading.

The following books, available on Amazon, might be useful:

The Gorilla Game, by Geoffrey Moore

Leaps by Harrison Roth

In addition, see Poet's first post on this thread for links to some very informative options
discussions from other threads.

Two good sites for checking options prices are:

cboe.com
edreyfus.com

[SI Bob addendum]

I like dljdirect.com for nicely formatted delayed options quotes and
foxmarketwire.com for up to 50 realtime quotes (including options) per day with
free registration.

Can we all just do that please?
