brec,

OK, maybe I don't understand. From MBTrading's website under the FAQ:

Question:
I hear a lot about multiple charges for cancellations after a partial fill.

Answer:
MB Trading has always attempted to reduce the cost to the trader whenever possible. We will very soon be adding a new feature to our MBTraders and the ARCA ECN route. Our clients will soon have the ability to "Cancel and Replace" a portion of a partially executed order. This is essentially a "Change" order. You will be able to change not only the size to be executed but the price as well. Up to now this feature was unavailable in the electronic community. Imagine the savings of being able to alter the price of an existing order without cancelling and reentering the order, thereby saving one or more ticket charges.

This seems to contradict what you are saying. What's the scoop?

Regards,

Dan.

Brec,

AH, LOL - I'm protecting no firm or individual. I neither endorse the services of, or advise against, any particular brokerage firm directly or indirectly. Discretion is the better part of valor, and, if you're itching to know what firms charge on the basis of partial fills, well, start hitting the URL's and their respective 'fees' pages.
