Yup! Analysts who are expecting Intel ASPs to be flat for the quarter will be in for a surprise (unless Intel cuts Celeron sales massively).

Intel longs should be glad the demand is high ;-)

Scanning pricewatch shows a 750Mhz Athlon to be roughly $100 cheaper than a 700Mhz PIII. Since the two GTW boxes appear to be identically outfitted and priced, then is should be reasonable to assume that AMD equipped units generate higher profits for GTW. Notwithstanding mindshare, GTW should be well motivated to give preference to AMD units!!??
