Unbelievable. How's everyone feel about this management team now? And they probably think everything is fine.

So long to shareholder value and NASDAQ. And just when I thought we were seeing light at the end of the tunnel.

Deja Vu all over again

[UPDATE1][05-06-00 11:15 AM ET] SINKO DE MAYO UPDATE...

We [esecurities.com corporation] talked to Richard Rabins, CEO (OTC:NKCIF)(TSE:NKC) throughout the day yesterday, 5/5/00 and Richard confirmed the following: that the "...private placement of Cdn.$2,227,000 principal amount of convertible notes..." has mitigated this problem: "...Due to its current limited working capital, NewKidCo has been delayed in making certain minimum royalty and other payments owing to certain of its licensors, one of whom has requested the payment default be resolved. NewKidCo is in co-operative discussions with this licensor to address this matter. Such licensors have the right to terminate their licensing agreements as a result of such defaults..." ref/ biz.yahoo.com

Note: This is not what the press release implied, however, it is what Richard represented after it appeared the purpose of said "convertible debt private placement" was to specifically address this problem, so we asked. The press release simply remains very confusing and disturbing.

We also received this email from NewKidCo's PR Agency last night:
